In 2024, MDLZ made significant strides in sustainability , achieving Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) validation for its 2030 greenhouse gas reduction goals, along with a commitment to reach net-zero emissions by 2050. EcoVadis Engagement

 

In 2023, RSSL partnered with EcoVadis to define our sustainability goals around four key pillars: Environment, Labor and Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. Our mission is to continuously improve year after year.

 

RSSL is proud to announce we have achieved EcoVadis Bronze Medal status. This recognition, earned in March 2024, marks a significant milestone in our journey towards sustainable business practices.

Environment

Renewable Energy: We proudly operate entirely on renewable energy.

Waste Reduction: We constantly seek innovative solutions to minimise waste and leverage technology to tackle Scope 3 Greenhouse Gas emissions.

 

Labour and human rights

As part of MDLZ, we prioritise human rights, ethical conduct and best practices in Human Resources providing extensive benefits and support to our employees, striving to be an employer of choice. Ethics

Code of Conduct: Our Code of Conduct is signed by all employees, with support systems in place to ensure compliance.

Transparent ESG Reporting: MDLZ’s annual ESG report highlights our contributions at RSSL and outlines our goals for continuous improvement.

 

Sustainable procurement

Supply Chain: In 2024, we invited our top 200 suppliers to join EcoVadis and communicated our sustainability expectations across our supply chain.

Supplier Rationalisation: We are actively streamlining our supplier base and require approval from our Quality Team before onboarding any new suppliers.
