QP Viva Preparation Day
Our QP VIVA Preparation Day is an invaluable one-to-one session with our most experienced QP trainers. It is much more than just a ‘Mock VIVA’- it is a full day focused on preparing you for your VIVA assessment.
We have been helping Trainee QPs achieve their ambitions for more than 20 years. During this time, we've honed our training and spoken to thousands of delegates, using their insights, motivations and concerns to deliver impactful courses that ready them for the next step in their careers.
One of the concerns most frequently highlighted to us, is the impact of nerves when it comes to trainees taking their VIVA assessment. Often, it was not that delegates lacked the knowledge to pass, it was the pressure or the inability to structure their responses correctly during the assessment.
This is where this preparation day comes in!
Note: It is important to understand that this is not a formal 'Mock VIVA' session. Prior to the preparation day, we will request a copy of your VIVA application form to review it and make any recommendations. The day will focus on fully preparing you for every aspect of your VIVA Assessment.
These sessions are relevant to Trainee QPs either training with RSSL or another provider. They form part of our Qualified Person Training and VIVA Support Programme and provide support to our Trainee QPs to ensure they are thoroughly prepared for their VIVA.
The day consists of the following topics:
A review of your VIVA application form, ensuring it is fit for purpose
Addressing any knowledge gaps
Ensuring you are fully prepared for your VIVA and know what to expect
Running through the types of questions you can expect to be asked
Ensuring you understand how to structure your responses
Providing you with techniques for dealing with nerves and giving yourself time to think
